In 2015, the salon was established by just one passionate hair stylist that does it all! In the last few years, the salon has since grown into a team of highly trained and skilled cosmetologist who value quality services and great guest experiences.
Our mission at Z Chic Salon + Extensions is to provide a relaxing, personalized experience through a team of highly skilled and creative professionals. Teamwork is our most valuable asset which ensures that our guests are always number one, and we strive to exceed their expectations. We believe every women has the power to create her own happiness and inspire confidence in herself and others.
Services that we specialize in include the natural hair silk press, hair care treatments, microlinks; including three different methods; tape-ins, clip-ins, hair color and balayage highlights.

Zana Cook is the owner of Z Chic Salon + Extensions located in Marietta, Georgia. With over 12 years experience in the beauty industry, Zana "Z" Cook and Z Chic Salon offer services such as natural hair care, hair color and enhancing beauty with Z Chic extensions for volume and/or length.
Our slogan is: Creating Happiness and Inspiring Confidence, an acronym founded by Zee to remind both salon guests and associates to keep a positive attitude and continue empowering each other.
Z Chic Salon takes pride in continuing education and hires all new stylist through an associate program to assure highly trained professionalism and consistency.
In addition to hair care services, Zee launched Z Chic luxury hair extensions in 2018 and has been focused on expanding this vertical of her business as a lifestyle brand. The extensions can be purchased online or at the salon along with many of our salon hair care products.
Zana is the proud mother of a handsome 9 year old son, Nasir and resides in Atlanta where she moved at the age of 14. “Life has dealt me some cards.. I’m wise enough to know that everything is happening FOR me and so far, life has not let me down. I have a story to tell, one that most won’t believe, and I intend to share that story with aspiring business owners, single mothers and women all over the world. Edric grew up living with his mother and two sisters in Michigan and would travel to the hair salon with them regularly. Growing up in a house full of women, the hair salon became his second home. EJ found his passion in the industry once he realized how something as simple as hair could unite strangers and warm hearts. The confidence that woman felt as they left the salon gave EJ a new purpose in life.
EJ was inspired to become an entrepreneur at the tender age of 17 when he realized that there was a gap in the customer service industry. After leaving multiple jobs for lack of heart, EJ decided to establish a business that would put customers first.
When asked how he became a part of this industry, "Why not have my business based off of something I love?" That’s where Promiscuous Hair began.
EJ continues his education in the industry to keep his skills sharp while keeping up with the latest trends so that He can provide guests with what they want. EJ currently specializes in healthy hair care, silk presses and luxury extensions services. EJ shows much gratitude and appreciation for all his continued love and support.
